2007 Gigs:

Sunday 4th February - 4 hour Workshop for intermediate players of all ages at Moycullen Co. Galway.

This will accomodate ten to twelve people.
(One hour break with refreshments, followed by a session in a quiet local pub, after the workshop).

Written music will be provided, but do bring recording devices.

Already a broad range of age groups have booked in for this event which will take place at Paul's house in the Galway countryside.

If you are interested but cannot make this date, contact Paul and he will book you for another date.

Description of: "From The Forest To The fiddler's Hands":

A talk on violin making from the felling of the tree to the polishing of the last coat of varnish, succintly illustrated in wood, words, tools and music. It is given further context by an in depth knowledge of the Irish Music Tradition, in particular the lore and history of the violin or fiddle. Paul sometimes employs a poem or two from a collection of his own composition.
